Temporary driving ban

A TEMPORARY driving ban is to be introduce on the A574 Cromwell Avenue, Warrington while major highway improvements are carried out.
The temporary prohibition of driving order will affect Cromwell from its junction with the A57 Sankey Way to its junction with Canons Road roundabout.
Cromwell Avenue South will be affected from its junction with with Sankey Way for a distance of about 100 metres in a southerly direction.
A57 Sankey Way (east bound) will be affected from its junction with the A57 Liverpool Road/A562 Penketh Road roundabout to its junction with A574 Cromwell Avenue.
The A57 Sankey Way (west bound) will be affected from its junction with Sankey Green roundabout to its junction with Cromwell Avenue South.There will also be temporary footpath closures, bans on right turns and speed restrictions.
The restrictions are expected to come into force from Monday, March 10 for 16 weeks but the closures are likely to be in force only between 10pm and 7am when signs are in place on the site.
