TONY Smith has made two changes to his 19-man squad for Warrington’s game against Hull on Sunday.
Simon Grix is out with an ankle injury, with Rhys Evans and Ben Harrison replacing him and Brad Dwyer.
The Wolves will be looking for their first win of the season at the Halliwell Jones Stadium, having suffered defeats to St Helens and Leeds in their opening two fixtures.
Captain Michael Monaghan said: “Looking at Hull, they are a tough team. They are a team that typically matches up well against us. Every time we play them it’s usually a pretty close contest. They are a big physical side and that’s an area we’ve struggled with recently.
“It’s a challenge for us and I know they’ll come here pretty confident because they’ve had recent success at The Halliwell Jones Stadium. It’s a challenge but that’s the standard of Super League now; every week is a competition and a tough game. We are looking forward to improving again on what we did last week.”
19-man squad: Roy Asotasi, Ryan Atkins, Chris Bridge, Ben Currie, Anthony England, Ben Evans, Rhys Evans, Ben Harrison, Micky Higham, Chris Hill, James Laithwaite, Joel Monaghan, Michael Monaghan, Richie Myler, Gareth O’Brien, Gene Ormsby, Stefan Ratchford, Trent Waterhouse, Ben Westwood.
