A 25-year-old woman was hit over the head with a bottle, knocked to the floor and then stamped on in the 53 Degrees North bar in Bridge Street at around 2.25am on Saturday, February 1.

Police said the victim was dancing with a group of friends in the bar when they became involved in an argument with another group of girls.
The argument escalated and the victim was attacked by one of the group.
The offender then left the bar with her friends.
PC Ross Dryden said: “This was a violent assault on a woman who was enjoying a night out with her friends but ended up in hospital with swelling and bruising to her head and a broken arm.
“I am keen to speak to anyone that may have witnessed the attack or recognises the woman in the CCTV to contact me in order to progress our enquiries.”
The offender is described as being around 5ft 6in tall of skinny build. She had light brown straight hair of shoulder length, and was wearing a checked dress with a black jacket, black leggings and was carrying a large black bag.
Anyone who witnessed the attack or has any information is asked to call police on 101 or alternatively contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
