ACCLAIMED comedian Mark Watson has just announced that he’ll perform at Parr Hall later this year following a successful gig at the venue in 2012.
The host of BBC’s We Need Answers brings his latest tour Flaws to Parr Hall on Saturday 8 November with tickets on sale from Monday (February 24) at 9am. It promises to be Watson’s darkest, most personal show yet but also his funniest.
Winner of five major comedy awards, the Bristol-born funny man is a big hit at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and has performed several unusual shows at the festival, including marathon performances lasting 24 hours and more.
His TV credits include popular panel shows Never Mind The Buzzcocks and Mock The Week, where he’s a regular guest.
Also a keen novelist, Watson hosted a literary workshop-cum-interactive comedy show entitled Mark Watson, And His Audience, Write A Novel at the 2006 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. The aim was to write in a month a novel from scratch written entirely from audience suggestions.
