Resurfacing works on Manchester Road

RESURFACING works will be carried out along the A57 Manchester Road, Fairfield from the junctions near to Morley Street and Helsby Street.
The work will start on Monday March 3 for two weeks and will be carried out between Monday to Friday 9.15am to 3.30pm.
Manchester Road will remain open to traffic. Temporary traffic signals will be used to control traffic.
Side roads within the works will be closed at their junctions with Manchester
Road. There will be diversions for side roads as required.
Alternative routes will be signed. Salisbury Street and Robson Grove will be kept open as far as possible, but access will not be possible when work is taking place across their junctions with Manchester Road.
Traffic signals and closures will be in operation during working hours only.
All roads will be open outside working hours.
Bus stops at St Elphin’s Park and Helsby Street will be upgraded with raised
kerbs as part of the works.
These stops will be closed when they are affected by the works.
