A MAN was trapped in an overturned car at Warrington today.
Fire crews were called to the scene in Manchester Road, Woolston after the car careered off the road and overturned on the grass verge with the driver trapped inside.
The car, which had earlier been involved in a collision, had to be stabilised before the man could be extricated.
He was later handed over to paramedics and taken to Warrington Hospital.
