A WOMEN-ONLY charity event is being organised by Events Management students from the University of Chester’s Warrington campus.
Ladies’ Night, hosted by student-run events company Ladies Eventions, will be held at the Richmond Social Club, Latchford, Warrington on Tuesday, March 4 at 7.30pm.
Featuring drag queen Paris, female vocalist Kirsty Lee, a disco and selection of stalls, the event has been organised to help raise money and awareness for The Clatterbridge Cancer Charity.
Guests will be treated to a buffet and will also be able to take part in a raffle to win fantastic prizes which have been donated by local businesses.
Ladies can purchase a ticket for the event, costing just £5 in advance or £6 on the door, from the University of Chester’s Warrington Campus as well as The Richmond Social Club. Tickets include entry, entertainment and a buffet.
Shani Bowman, from Ladies Eventions said: “We feel privileged to be able to bring such a fantastic event to the community of Warrington, with all proceeds being donated to such a great cause. The Clatterbridge Cancer Charity provides vital care for cancer sufferers of all ages as well as their families and so we hope to raise as much money as possible.”
A spokesperson from The Clatterbridge Cancer Charity added: “We are so grateful to the thousands of dedicated fundraising volunteers, supporters and donors, without whom the projects funded by the charity would not be possible.”
