House damaged by fire

DAMAGE was caused to a house and an adjoining fence at Warrington after a wheelie bin was set alight.
The blaze was in Magnolia Close, Woolston last night.
Firefighters used a hosereel jet to extinguish the blaze and used a thermal imaging camera to check for further hot spots that could ignite. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
In a separate incident there was a fire involing a bin and a trampoline in the garden of a house in Handley Drive, Orford. A hosereel jet was used to extinguish the blaze, which started accidentally.
