Take control of your energy bills

0

HOME energy bills have rocketed by an average of 168% over the past 10 years and it is expected that they will continue to rise in the future.
Recent price changes have left many consumers confused about choosing tariffs and suppliers. It is also difficult for householders to understand their
energy bills and to compare prices between suppliers.
To help householders to take control of their energy bills, Low Carbon Lymm (LCL) is organising a community event on Saturday March 8 in Lymm Village Hall from 10am to 3pm. Lots of information, money saving tips and independent advice will be available on topics such as switching energy providers, energy
efficiency and renewable energy. Local suppliers will be on hand to discuss their products and services.
The event will also feature the Green Trail – the website that enables you to read, see and hear about installations on real homes in the Warrington area including solar electricity, solar hot water, heat pumps, external wall insulation, LED lighting and voltage optimisers.
The winners of LCL’s Climate Week Awards will be announced at the event and there will be information on other LCL projects including the Spud Wood Allotment scheme, Local Food and Recycling.
