WARRINGTON Wolves won their final pre-season warm up game with a hard

fought 14-8 victory over Salford Red Devils at the Halliwell Jones

Stadium.
With new props Roy Asotasi and Anthony England featuring, the Wolves points all came in the first half through Joel Monaghan (13), Ben Westwood (20) and Chris Riley (23) with Stefan Ratchford missing the first two conversion attempts and Westwood taking over the kicking duties and adding the third to make it 14-0.
The visitors responded just before the break through Meli.
In a close second half Salford scored the only points through a Johnson try on 53 minutes.
