Heidi's triathlon challenge

A 22-year-old Warrington woman is to take part in an IRONMAN triathlon to raise money for charity – and lose two stone in weight.
Personal trainer Heidi Crellin (pictured) will be taking part in her first triathlon, which consists of a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile cycle ride and a 24.6 mile run.
Heidi decided to complete the gruelling event at Bolton in July after seeing some of her friends complete it previously.
She hopes to raise £1,000 for her chosen charity, Scope, which supports disabled people and their families.
Some years ago, she visited Lourdes, taking care of many severely disabled individuals with who she made a deep connection.
She is already in training, building up fitness levels through running and cycling.
Heidi said: “Having never taken part in a triathlon of any length before I am quite nervous, however, my training should stand me in good stead to finish the race and raise money for a worthy cause.”
