FIRE crews from Stockton Heath were called out early today to deal with a blaze involving a car in Booths Lane, Lymm.
The fire was in the engine compartment of the vehicle and is believed to have been caused by a fault in the engine.
Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus tackled the fire with a hose reel jet.
In an earlier incident, crews from Warrington and Birchwood fire stations were called to a caravan park in Warburton Bridge Road, Hollins Green.
A car had been on fire, although the blaze was out by the time crews reached the scene.
Firefighters use a hose reel jet to dampen down the area around the vehicle.
It is believed the fire was started deliberately and police are investigating.
