POPULAR left-back Louis Corrigan has re-joined Warrington Town from Evo-Stik Premier Division Marine.

Corrigan was an integral part of the title winning Skelmersdale United

team last season before heading down under with Shepparton United Soccer

Club based in the north east of Victoria, Australia.

Corrigan, 23, spent his early career at Tranmere Rovers joining them at

the age of 16 in 2007 before leaving for Colwyn Bay in 2009. A move

followed in 2010 to Warrington Town.

At the end of 2011 he joined Skelmersdale United becoming a key player

in helping the club win promotion. He was named in the Evo-Stik NPL

First Division North Team of the Year at the League’s annual player’s

awards in April before the move down under.

Manager Shaun Reid said: “We have had Louis on our radar for a while now

and are delighted that he has decided to come back to Warrington Town.”

Corrigan goes straight into the squad for today’s game at home against Wakefield, kick off 3pm.
