Circus of Horrors returns to Parr Hall

THE ever-popular Circus of Horrors returns to Warrington’s Parr Hall on Saturday, February 8 – with a new show based on the legendary “lost” film, London after Midnight.
Ever since its conception, at the 1995 Glastonbury Festival, Circus of Horrors has toured the world, achieving cult status and dragging circus screaming and shouting into the 21st century and beyond.
The new show is inspired by the silent movie London after Midnight, starring Lon Chaney, which dates from 1927 but which no longer lists. The last known copy was destroyed by fire at the MGM vaults in 1967.
It is packed with shocks and takes the audience on a whirlwind journey through a plague-ridden London in 1665, culminating during the great fire of London in 1666.
Described as a rock ‘n’ roller-coaster of a show, the story is full of twists with five murders, each more horrific than the previous one and feature some of the most daring, bizarre and beautiful circus acts on earth, including sword swallowers, dare devil balancing acts, demon dwarfs, a pickled person and astounding aerial acts. The show starts at 7.30pm
