WARRINGTON Town have captured the signature of striker Aaron Bowen on a permanent deal following a successful one month loan period.
Bowen aged 22, who played at Cammell Laird last season and also had a brief spell with Australian side Shepparton United, has signed from Barrow.
The 6ft 5 striker has been a popular member of the Warrington squad and is delighted to be part of the club’s promotion push.
Director of Football Toby Macormac said: “We are delighted that Aaron has agreed to join us on a permanent deal and it is another piece in the jigsaw as we continue with our goal of promotion.”
Manager Shaun Reid added: “Aaron has settled in well and is a quality addition to the squad. His size and pace always causes problems for defences.”
Bowen missed last Saturday’s 3-0 win at Farsley while awaiting paper work to clear but goes straight back into contention for the visit of Mossley on tomorrow, Saturday, kick off 3pm.
Town are also in action in a top of the table clash with Curzon Ashton next Tuesday evening, kick off 7.45pm.
