Wolves' new boy is flying Scot!

WARRINGTON Wolves’ new full-back Matt Russell was in sparkling form as he produced a man of the match performance in Scotland’s World Cup win over the USA at Salford last night.
Russell crowned his performance with a try as the Scots, unbeaten in the competition, came back from 8-0 down to win 22-8.
He is now joint top try scorer in the competition with four.
But despite being unbeaten with two wins and a draw, the points difference was not enough to overhaul Italy, which means the Scots will miss out on a quarter-final slot if Italy beat Tonga at Halifax on Sunday.
But Russell’s World Cup performance suggests he has been a shrewd signing by Warrington Wolves’ boss Tony Smith.
