Shop raider threatened staff

A MAN walked into a convenience shop at Warrington early this morning, threatened staff and stole two bottles of vodka.
The robbery was at the Spar shop on Callands Road, Callands at about 6.22am.
Police are appealing for witnesses – and believe a second man may have been involved.
DC Simon Fisher said: “A man walked into the shop and threatened staff with somethat that may have been a knife or a screwdriver.
“He demanded money from the till but when the staff refused he took two bottles of vodka from a shelf and fled the scene with a second man we believe was waiting outside.
“An investigation is ongoing and we are appealing for witnesses to contact us as soon as possible.”
