Work due on M62 J8 roundabout

RESURFACING work on the roundabout at junction eight of the M62 will begin next month.
The major roadworks will start on June 10 and will take up to three weeks to complete, and Daily Lane/Road will be closed between 9pm and 5am, Monday to Saturday to allow the roads to be surfaced.
To minimise inconvenience, the works will be split into phases:
Phase 1 (Northwest Quarter) being undertaken on Monday nights
No exit from M62 East, No exit to Burtonwood Road North
Diversion via Westbrook Way, Cromwell Avenue, Winwick Road, exit for M62, Newton Road, Hollins Lane and Alder Lane to Burtonwood. Motorway traffic diverted to Junction 9
Phase 2 (Northeast Quarter) on Tuesday nights
No exit from Burtonwood Road North and No access to M62 East
Diversion via Clay Lane, Chapel Lane, Alder Lane, Hollins Lane, Newton Road, exit for M62, Winwick Road, Cromwell Avenue, and Westbrook Way
Phase 3 (Southeast Quarter) on Wednesday nights
No exit from M62 West, No exit to Charon Way, No exit to Burtonwood Road South
Diversion via Westbrook Way, Cromwell Avenue, Winwick Road, exit for M62,
Newton Road, Hollins Lane and Alder Lane to Burtonwood and vice versa. Motorway traffic diverted via junction 7
Phase 4 (Southwest Quarter) on Thursday and Friday nights
No exit to Burtonwood Road South, No exit to M62 West
Diversion via Charon Way, Westbrook Crescent, Westbrook Way, Cromwell Avenue, Winwick Road, exit for M62, Newton Road, Hollins Lane and Alder Lane to Burtonwood
