THROUGHOUT the eleven years I have lived in Lymm, I have been an avid reader of Lymm Life each month.
New to the Lymm area, I initially read it to familiarise myself with the area, its people, events and places to visit.
Importantly, I also used it to source suppliers, for example pubs and restaurants, a plasterer and a handyman, mainly because I didn’t know many people in Lymm and hence anyone who could make recommendations to me.
In my view, Lymm Life has just the right balance of news stories, interesting articles and advertisements.
Nowadays, in our house Lymm Life is read from cover to cover by the whole family, as soon as it lands on our doormat. It is well read not only in my house but also in those of many friends I have in the village.
In the time I have lived in Lymm, a number of other, similar publications have appeared. These are either insufficiently focused on Lymm, or full of advertisements with no interesting stories, or so big that I don’t have the time to read them, and I’m never quite sure when these publications will appear as some seem to be published monthly, others less often. As a Lymm resident I would definitely recommend local businesses to advertise in Lymm Life to reach a very wide audience and potential customers.
