Town hold table toppers!

WARRINGTON Town held table topping Halifax Town 1-1 in front of a record breaking home league crowd at Cantilever Park.
A large following from Halifax swelled the gate to nearly 500 producing record takings for a league game at Warrington.
Centre forward Jimmy McCarthy gave Warrington the lead after just 10 minutes, with the visitors equalising through striker Ashley Scott in the third minute of first half injury time.
While promotion chasing Halifax dominated the later stages of the first half and the opening quarter of the second half, Warrington could have snatched a dramatic victory as they spurned a couple of golden opportunities and hit the cross bar five minutes from time.
In fact it was Warrington who looked the more likely to win in the closing stages and while a draw was probably a fair result over the whole 90 minutes manager Joey Dunn was disappointed not to bag all three points.
Warrington next travel to Wakefield on Tuesday night and visit Radcliffe Borough away next Saturday.
The next home game is against Mossley on Tuesday February 24.
Pictures show the queues to get into Cantilever Park before kick off and club Mascot Legend with matchball sponsors SPARC.
