Road closed after bridge crash

A BUSY town centre road has been closed at Warrington after a lorry struck a railway bridge and became trapped underneath.
The collision occurred shortly at 2pm in Marsh House Lane. No-one was hurt.
As a result, the road is closed in both directions while work goes on to remove the lorry and engineers from Network Rail check the bridge.
Police are advising motorists to avoid the area until the work has been completed.
