Kids inspire dad to get on his bike

A WARRINGTON father of three is cycling 64 miles from Manchester to Blackpool to raise funds for Francis House Children’s Hospice on July 8.
Richard Keane, 35, grew up in Woolston and went to Lymm High School. He said as a father of three he realises how precious children are and so decided to support the hospice.
He said: “I’m training very hard at the moment and would appreciate any local support raising money for the children’s hospice that cares for terminally ill children.”
“They try to make things the best they can possibly be at the end of a child’s life whilst supporting the family through the ordeal. The charity relies on voluntary donations to see them undertake this ‘end of life’ vital work.”
The ride is from Old Trafford Stadium to Blackpool Tower and Richard said it will be “strenuous and challenging at times.”
