POLICE are investigating after a Mercedes car was torched at Warrington early this morning.
The blaze was in Folly Lane, where the car was parked adjoining a house.
Fire crews wearing breathing apparatus tackled the blaze with two hose reel jets but the car was completely destroyed.
Firefighters used a thermal imaging camera to check the adjoining property to ensure the blaze had not spread.
The fire was reported shortly before 6.30am.
