Monaghan celebrates at the double!

WARRINGTON Wolves’ Aussie star Michael Monaghan is celebrating at the

double after being named Player of the Year and Players’ Player of the

Year at the club’s annual end of season awards dinner.
The popular hooker, who has been in outstanding form throughout the season, was an overwhelming favourite for the Players’ Player of the Year award, picking up around 90 per cent of the vote.
He collected his award from Head of Coaching Tony Smith who paid tribute to the player who has also been acting skipper during the absence of Adrian Morley.
There were also special presentations to Matt King (South Sydney) Louis Anderson (Catalan Dragons) and Jon Clarke (Widnes) who will be leaving the club at the end of the season to join new clubs.
There was alkso a special presentation to Lee Briers in recognition of his new points record for the club which was presented by club photographer Eddie Fuller (pictured below).
