Gundog training course

A BEGINNERS course for people interested in gundog fieldwork is to be launched at Peover Heath, near Knutsford, in September.
Organised by the Gundog Club, the Grade One course aims to provide the skills required for a Gundog Club course with an introduction to gundog training for beginners.
The Gundog Club aims to introduce more gundog owners this rewarding sport, helping people channel their pet’s natural desires and talents into a useful and exciting activity.
Taught only by Gundog Club Accredited Assessors, each course is accepting a maximum of six students for eight weekly, one hour, sessions.
Over the eight weeks, students will train their dogs in basic obedience and simple retrieving. Students will have the option of booking an appropriate Field Test at the end of their course.
Courses are available to book online now, with a variety of dates and times available. Further information is available at www.thegundogclub.co.uk/Training/courses or by calling 01428 717529.
