Armed raiders target house

THREE men armed with a knife and a large torch forced their way into a house at Warrington and attacked the occupants.
One of the victims was knocked to the floor, punched and kicked and another struck with the torch. The third person in the house was not injured.
The offenders left the scene in a dark coloured M registered car.
Police are appealing for witnesses of the incident which occured at a terraced house in Grafton Street, Bewsey at about 10.30pm on Thursday, June 30.
The intruders forced their way into the house through the back door, threatened three people who were in the kitchen and then assaulted them.
One of the offenders was about 5ft 5 inches tall, of slim build and about 20. He was wearing a hooded top with a scarf covering the lower part of his face. He was brandishing a knife.
Another was about 5ft 7 inches tall, of medium build and about 28-30. He wore a dark coloured hooded top, with a scarf covering the lower part of his face. He was holding a maglite torch. The third man was tanned, about 6ft tall, of stocky build and was about 30. He also wore a dark coloured, hooded top with an open-faced balaclava and dark rimmed glasses.
One of the victims suffered injuries to his arm and a cut to his right hand, the second victim was struck with the torch, causing an injury to his forearm and a significant cut to his head that required stitching. The third victim was not injured.
