Hodgson and Morley to miss Wildcats

WARRINGTON Wolves will travel to Wakefield this Friday to take on the Wildcats without influential full-back and goal kicker Brett Hodgson and skipper Adrian Morley in their 19 man squad.
Both picked up leg injuries during the 40-24 victory over Leeds at Friday and join Matt King, Louis Anderson and Mike Cooper on the sidelines.
But Ryan Atkins returns to face his former club, while Chris Bridge has recovered from injury quicker than expected and is also named in the 19.
Youngsters Lee Mitchell and Tyrone McCarthy have also been added to the squad.
The Wolves will be looking to continue their winning run coming off the back of a home victory over Leeds Rhinos at the weekend.
The Wildcats will be looking to bounce back on home turf following their recent loss away to Bradford.
Wolves’ coach Tony Smith said: “We are in the right frame of mind and are looking to keep the consistency going. Wakefield have already shown this year that they can come up with big performances and John Kear is very good at getting one-offs out of his team. I’m sure they’ll know they are in for a game this week and will try to be at their best as will we.”
