King back in eight weeks!

WARRINGTON Aussie star Matt King could be back in action in just eight weeks following the knee injury he first feared had ended his career.
Scans have shown that the medial ligament damage he suffered following the injury he suffered in the Wolves’ opening game defeat against Huddersfield in Cardiff at the weekend were not as bad as first feared.
At first it was feared King could have ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament, which would have effectively ended his season and potentially his Warrington career, but the injury is confined to medial-ligament damage.
Scans have shown that he has medial-ligament damage and damage to the joint capsule in his right knee. Although he will require an operation King hopes to be back in action in 8-10 weeks.
King revealed the full extent of his injury and his desire to be back in action in 8-10 weeks during a visit to the club’s official optician partner, Richard Shaw Opticians on Bold Street, Warrington
King’s four-year contract runs out at the end of the year, although he has option for another 12 months.
