WORK starts on Sunday on a major road widening scheme at Warrington that will result in a busy road being closed until next January.
Some off-road work has already taken place on the southbound widening of Burtonwood Road but from Sunday, Burtonwood Road Northbound, from the roundabout at Whittle Avenue/Burtonwood Road to the new junction of Charon Way.
This closure will be in operation until January.
Kingswood Road will still be open for vehicles turning left in off Burtonwood Road and also left out onto Burtonwood Road.
Other access into the Kingswood Road estate will be via Westbrook Way/Westbrook Crescent.
