Man charged with murder of Angela Craddock

A 54-year-old man has been charged with the murder of Angela Craddock following an incident in Warrington earlier this week.

William Smart, aged 54, from Winmarleigh Street in Warrington, is due to appear at Warrington Magistrates Court on Saturday 14 April.

He was arrested on Tuesday 10 April and has subsequently been charged with the offence and remanded into custody.

The victim, Angela Craddock, aged 40, was found at around 10.40pm at an address on St Elphins Close suffering serious head injuries. She sadly later died at Warrington General Hospital.
