YEAR 10 pupils at Warrington’s Birchwood High School have been presented with an array of different prospective careers.
They attended the Skills North West Careers Fair in Manchester which highlighted various job opportunities and career paths, including apprenticeships, college and university.
Youngsters rode on the tailgate of a lorry, practised floristry, CPR and explored careers in logistics. The police presented a wide range of opportunities including HR, CID and dog handling.
Pupils also took part in an Army team-building challenge, learnt about the latest hair and beauty techniques and used the latest equipment in the music and games industry.
They left with bags full of information as well as the usual freebies.
