HUSBAND and wife team Gary and Amanda Pemberton of Belvoir Warrington are celebrating after scooping two of the company’s top awards.

This year’s prestigious awards held at the Manchester Hilton, and sponsored by Let Alliance, celebrated the achievements of the company’s highest performing franchisees.

The husband and wife team who own the Belvoir Warrington office based on Sankey Street, were delighted to win the company’s Charity Champions award for a record third consecutive year, and Gary also won the Gold Award for Group Contribution.

On presenting the awards, Belvoir CEO Dorian Gonsalves said: “Many congratulations to Belvoir Warrington on winning these fantastic national awards. Belvoir’s Gold Award for Group Contribution award was given to Gary because of the fantastic contribution he has made to the Belvoir business in the past 12 months.

“Gary’s passion for Belvoir, as well as his enthusiasm and ideas are invaluable and he volunteers a lot of time to work on the Belvoir Insurance Working Group and the Research and Development Group. These groups are vital as they help us to ensure that Belvoir continues to deliver the best services and newest innovations to clients across the network. Gary is very generous with his time and extremely willing to work with other local Belvoir franchisees whenever this is needed. This generosity of spirit is key to the success of franchising and we very much appreciate his efforts.

“When it comes to charity work, Belvoir Warrington is an office that just keeps on giving. Their fund raising efforts are truly magnificent, and as well as providing much needed cash for local and national charities, it also creates a real team spirit, which continues long after the events have finished and contributes to the levels of customer service that Amanda, Gary and the team consistently provide. We wish them every success for the future.”

On receiving the awards, Gary said: ”We are delighted to receive the Charity Champions award for the third year in a row. Amanda and I raised some of the money the “Children’s Adventure Farm Trust” (CAFT), but a considerable amount was raised by our Office Manager and close friend Janette Hughes who put on a superb fund raising evening for MacMillan in memory of her late husband who passed away in 2016. The whole team got behind Janette and her twin sister Alison (who also works for us) to make this a superb event, raising almost £4000 for charity.

“I was also thrilled to win the Gold Award for Group Contribution. We have been with Belvoir for nearly 10 years and as we are now well established, I wanted to give something back to the group with my views, time and experience. For this reason I participate on two working groups and actively work with Belvoir’s Central Office and my peers in the Belvoir network to help everyone progress and move forward with best practice and new ideas.”
