VIDEO: WARRINGTON Wolves’ Head Coach Steve Price says he has some difficult decisions to make following the signing of former Wigan winger Josh Charnley.
With Dom Crosby, Ryan Atkins and Ben Currie, all set to return from injury Price says the arrival of Charnley will give him some difficult decisions and selection headaches.
“It is a great coup for our footie club. He was a fantastic winger at Wigan before going to rugby union. He understands what it is like to be a champion and is a great competitor,” said Price.
“He is going to be challenging our back line which is healthy but I have some difficult decisions ahead.”
Price says there was room within the salary cap to accommodate Charnley who will “bring something different to the squad.”
Meanwhile six months after agreeing to come to Warrington, Price will finally be joined by his family for the first time at tomorrow’s home game against Wakefield.
“My family love their rugby so it will be their first chance to experience this great stadium,” he added.
