The 2018 spring fashion guide

After a long and erratic winter in Warrington, spring is finally here. Right now you’re thinking of how to get rid of the winter wear from your wardrobe and replace it with much lighter yet trendy spring wear.

It might as well be the reason why you are here; to get killer tips on spring fashion for 2018. Here is 2018 spring fashion guide

Sneakers

Temperatures are expected to rise during the spring. Sneakers leaves much of your legs uncovered thus giving them free space to perspire amidst the escalating temperatures. Slim laced sneakers can be a lot trendier than most of the lighter flat shoes whose best time is the summer.

Sportswear

Spotswear fabrics and pieces have appearances on the runway for the past two weeks in full looks and sometimes alongside silk dresses and skirts. Clearly, it is going to be a spring with plenty of sportswear than you’ve seen before, a bold take on athleisure. The top fashion houses such as Fenty X Puma, Dior and Marc Jacobs have reinvented the magic of jumpsuits, skiing suits, motocross and scuba diving apparels that will set trends this winter. You must not buy from their stores though; there is strong likelihood of getting similar designs in your local store unless you can afford what is indicated on the price tags of the high end stores. Therefore, consider being creative this spring to mix and match the sportswear with the not very sporty pieces in your closet.

Denim on Denim

Is there any time denim hasn’t been trendy? Well, let us just say it will be trendier this spring. The fashion rules breakers at Oscar de la Renta Y/Project and Alexander McQueen have showcased deconstructed jean jackets with extra shapes, more sartorial denim boots and paint stained denim skirts which can go well with cheap women’s over the knee boots. All we are saying is you should think of a head to toe denim look this spring.

Bright Pink

Nothing looks girly and sexy in the spring like a pink dress. Tom Ford’s pink broad shouldered jacket worn by Mica Arganaraz over a brighter pink jumpsuit and miniature sneakers marked the start of the fashion month. It is easy to forget that pink prints have been featured in many runways before! Together with yellow pieces which aren’t as dominant as pink prints. Pink is will be one of the worn colours this spring, so remember to grab yourself a pink top, full dress or jacket (or both) to be trendier.

Dresses on Shirts

In this month’s runways, we’ve seen a wide variety of dresses being worn over all sorts of shirts. Balenciaga has showed fine silk dresses being worn over sportier shirts and flowy dresses on top shirts with leopard prints. This trend began from slip dresses being worn over t-shirts. To make your spring fun and trendy, consider mixing and matching your button downs, tops and t-shirts with dresses to invoke new and exciting looks!

Print on Print

Another trend worth noting in the spring/summer of 2018 is the synching and mixing of different patterns and prints in one outfit. This is probably the easiest trend to follow. Just use your judgement and creativity to bring together distinct prints that look different but can go together.
