SAM Barber, a Year 9 pupil at Warrington’s Sir Thomas Boteler CE High School, has been chosen as a “Community Champion.”
Sam received the award from the House of Commons after Warrington South MP Faisal Rashid had chosen him for his positive contribution in Warrington.
For the last three years, Sam has taken part in regular community litter picks, wild flower meadow plants and in helping his neighbours in the community.
Sam – who wore his school uniform to represent Boteler – was invited to the Town Hall to receive the award.
