WORLD Book Day was celebrated at Birchwood High School with the English department asking staff to dress as book characters to entertain pupils.
Staff rose to the occasion with a Juliet, without her Romeo, the Queen of Hearts, Sherlock Holmes, The Queen of Dragons and a whole pack of Dalmatians.
Alice hosted a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, helped by the White Rabbit and the Queen of Hearts who served tarts and cupcakes.
