“Brainy” comedian heading for town

WARRINGTON’S Parr Hall is set to welcome a stand-up star dubbed “the brainiest comic of his generation.”
Bill Bailey will be appearing on Friday March 9 with “Larks in Transit”, a side-splitting show of traveller’s tales and general shenanigans from his 20-year career as a travelling comedian.
Due to huge demand, the popular comedian will also be returning to Warrington with two added dates in June.
Armed with his trademark intelligence and musical virtuosity, the show is a kaleidoscope of comedy that tackles politics, philosophy, and – of course – the pursuit of happiness, with a number of surreal tangents thrown in along the way.
If that’s not enough, this comedic genius will flaunt his myriad skills by fashioning a symphony from a ringtone, telling the real story of Old McDonald, and re-imagining the Stars and Stripes.
In addition to his “wicked sense of humour” Bill Bailey is also renowned for his musical prowess, having delighted fans across the UK with his musical comedy extravaganza, Bill Bailey’s Remarkable Guide to the Orchestra. Performing alongside some of the UK’s finest orchestras, the show allowed fans a rare opportunity to see the comedian’s surreal and musical imagination at its very best.
Bill Bailey will be in town on Friday March 9, and again on Wednesday and Thursday June 13 and 14.
Tickets are on sale now at www.pyramidparrhall.com or by calling box office on 01925 442345.
