A TRAVELLERS encampment is continuing to occupy private land at the M&S car park at Gemini, Westbrook.
Cheshire and Warrington’s traveller officers have advised the owners of the land at Europa Boulevard to employ bailiffs to help remove the encampment and police have said they will use special powers to move them on.
It is believed to be the same group who occupied the car park at Woolston Community Hub recently.
Ongoing problems with travellers have escalated in recent weeks, with a group also setting up camp at Hardwick Grange at Woolston and at Silver Lane, Risley.
Each time they are moved on they set up at another location in town.
