Travellers invade two sites at Warrington

TRAVELLERS have arrived on two more sites at Warrington today.
Two caravans and associated vehicles moved on private land at Marks and Spencer, Europa Boulevard, Westbrook,
Another group, of five caravans and associated vehicles arrived on council-owned land at Hardwick Grange, Woolston.
A spokesperson for the Cheshire and Warrington Traveller Team said they were dealing with the travellers at Woolston and had advised the landowners at Westbrook to employ bailiffs.
It is not clear if the travellers are connected with groups who have invaded sites at Woolston and Risley in recent days.
Police said they were u sing special powers to move these groups on.

Most are here for a wedding apparently (or possibly two it’s hard to tell) and have been causing mayhem across the town not only at the various sites but also in the local shops and sports facilities etc. Some are staying at the Village Hotel on Centre Park too I believe (but not in their caravans) as they are paying for rooms there. If it is a wedding though I’m sure they will all have one heck of a great time as they certainly seem to know how to splash the cash and have a great party. I hope they all hurry up and go though as some of the ones we’ve seen round our way look right hard knocks and trouble. Some aren’t too bad though… 🙁
