CULCHETH‘s two GP practices are to merge and move into the health centre building in Jackson Avenue.
NHS England has awarded the contract to Culcheth Medical Centre, who have arranged a question and answer evening for all patients at Culcheth Sports Club, the Daten, Charnock Road, Culcheth at 7pm on Thursday, March 1.
For some time, Warrington Health Plus has been providing primary care services at the health centre in Jackson Avenue on an interim basis. But this contract to deliver services expires on March 31.
A spokesperson for Culcheth Medical Centre said: “Discussions have been underway to make sure that a permanent provider is put in place so you can continue to access high quality services at your GP practice and we’re pleased to announce that following a rigorous contract process Culcheth Medical Centre is the new permanent provider of general practice services.
“Although this is a change in the provider, this will not impact on your day to day services and patients will continue to receive safe, quality treatment and care during this period of transition.
Members of the Culcheth Medical Centre team will be at the Q&A evening to answer any questions patients may have.
