Two new additions for Eddie Stobart

EDDIE Stobart, the leading supply chain, transport and logistics company, has announced two new additions to its operations team.

Antony Leighton has been appointed as sector director for manufacturing, industrial and bulk (MIB), and Nick Winder as sector director for retail.

David Pickering, COO of Eddie Stobart, said; “Both Tony and Nick bring an enormous amount of knowledge and experience to the business and will play a key part in building our client base in the MIB and retail sectors.

“Their appointments will not only help us to develop the services we provide to our customers, but ultimately, support our business growth and investment activities into expanding markets.”

Antony joins with 22 years’ experience in the transport and logistics industry and Nick joins with 19 years’ experience and a background in retail logistics within 3PL.

Both MIB and retail are key focus areas for Eddie Stobart, providing dedicated logistics to each sector. For MIB, Eddie Stobart has diversified its fleet to support customers with different equipment such as powder tankers and cement mixers.

In addition to comprehensive and versatile multimodal transport solutions, Eddie Stobart offers retail customers real time access to stock, using barcode tracking and state of the art warehouse management systems.
