Help put Warrington on the Digital Map now!

WARRINGTON based  Carpe Diem, have been working with Tech North to help raise the profile of Warrington within the digital and tech sector.

Carpe Diem recently hosted an investors workshop to attract and support business owners who are interested in investing in technology companies, whilst providing valuable insights for start-ups who are looking for investment.

The workshop was one of the most highly attended events in Tech North’s investor’s calendar and shows that Warrington has a key part to play in the digital sector; yet, Warrington did not even feature in the Tech Nation Report and this is what Carpe Diem want to change.

The Tech Nation Report is the most comprehensive snapshot of the UK’s digital tech sector, using data from thousands of responses from digital businesses and community partners across the UK. From diversity to high growth businesses, education and training; over the last three years the report has captured the strength, depth and breadth of activity across the UK. It has revealed the scale of the digital tech sector, demonstrated its growth, and – crucially – developed an understanding of the characteristics of the communities driving it.

Now in its 4th year, Tech Nation 2018 is set to be bigger than ever before and Carpe Diem are pressing for as many WA postcode respondents as possible to engage.

Bill Carr, Carpe Diem CEO, points out; “Last year’s Tech Nation Report didn’t include Warrington at all and bearing in mind the wealth of talent and digital businesses here we’re clearly not shouting loud enough about our skills and innovations.”

So to have your voice heard (in less than 5 minutes) complete the survey now (or by February 2nd at the latest).

Tech Nation 2018 will be available for everyone to download, so you’ll be able to see where your answers fit within the wider UK tech community. And all respondents will be entered into a charity draw. The winner of which can choose a charity from a shortlist to receive a £1,000 donation from Tech City UK.

Carpe Diem are looking to attract ‘pioneers’ to Warrington’s Wild West (WWW). With key digital expertise available in Warrington, Carpe Diem’s WWW campaign continues to attract, companies, investors and entrepreneurs to Warrington and through the doors of their office at The Base.
