GLAZEBURY Cricket Club has renewed its appeal for new players for the coming season – and is offering free membership for under 18s.
The offer is intended to give a boost to the club’s bid to strengthen its junior playing members. The club is hoping to get enough youngsters to re-launch an Under-11 team this year. In the past, the junior teams have been a welcome source of new senior players.
Annual subscription for senior members – 18 and over) is £30.
Indoor net practice is set to start soon, with a 10-week session likely to start on Sunday, February 11.
