IT was a busy night for police in Warrington with officers making a total of 10 arrests – and two officers being assaulted.
Neither was seriously injured – one was assaulted while trying to break up a fight at Stockton Heath, the other is understood to be injured while dealing with anti-social behaviour by youths on The Cross at Lymm.
But both officers suffered only minor injuries.
One man was arrested for a public order offence during a disturbance at Hood Manor shops and was alleged to have resisted arrest.
The other arrests were for a variety of offences.
