THE Warrington Business Awards organising committee has announced that Redwood Bank and Warrington & Co will be Headline Sponsors of the 2018 Awards.

Based in the heart of Warrington, Redwood Bank lends to local businesses to help make a real difference. Redwood Bank offers British businesses simple, transparent loans and savings accounts backed up with tailored service, efficient systems and with the knowledge that money is being invested back into the Warrington community.

Warrington & Co. is Warrington’s urban regeneration partnership. Its function is to steer and monitor the implementation of the regeneration framework, as well as providing a forum for all the key agencies involved in regeneration in the town – both public and private sector – to co-ordinate their activities.

Graeme Hindley, member of the Warrington Business Awards organising committee and partner at Styles & Co Chartered Accountants said:”Since we relaunched the Warrington Business Awards in 2015, as well as showcasing the phenomenal businesses in the local area, our objectives have been to create a greater business community and to ensure that local businesses are aware of the support that is available in the town.

Redwood Bank and Warrington & Co are focused on supporting local businesses and are therefore ideal partners for the Warrington Business Awards 2018.

We are delighted both innovative organisations are supporting the Awards and continuing to demonstrate their support for local commerce.”

Gary Wilkinson, CEO and Co-Founder of Redwood Bank, said: “Since launching in Warrington in 2017, we have been welcomed in to the Warrington community. We are delighted to be working in such a progressive local economy that continues to be a fantastic home for SMEs and growing businesses. Our aim is to help local businesses thrive and unlock their full potential.

In Warrington there are many thriving businesses which deserve recognition and we look forward to working with the Warrington Business Awards 2018 to cast the spotlight on these local success stories.”

Steve Park, managing director at Warrington & Co, added:”The Warrington Business Awards have become the focal point for celebrating the tremendous commercial successes in the area.  Working across the public and private sector, Warrington & Co’s objective is to deliver an ambitious economic and social development plan for Warrington.

We want to celebrate local success stories and build on these to further enhance Warrington’s regional role. Supporting the Warrington Business Awards highlights our desire to draw attention to the hard working business owners, teams, individuals and initiatives that collectively enable Warrington to continue to grow as an economic force in the northwest of England.”

The Warrington Business Awards will be officially launched on 1st February with a unique dinner at The Peace Centre with special guest speakers; Andy Burnham, Mayor of Manchester and Steve Rotheram, Liverpool City Region Metro Mayor.

The Awards themselves will be announced at the prestigious Warrington Business Awards on Friday June 8 2018, to be again hosted in the Awards Marquee at Lymm Rugby Club.
