British comedy heads to town with musical performance

A musical trio will be swinging into Warrington for a show-stopping performance that will leave you smiling from ear to ear.

Warrington’s Parr Hall will play host to Rat Pack champs The Crooners as part of their extensive UK tour.

Bringing a sense of parody to this timeless genre, this show pays homage to some of the greatest Crooners of all time, with songs from Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davies Jr, Matt Monro, Nat King Cole, Bobby Darin and more.

Now, this golden age of music will be brought to life in a rip-roaring comedy fronted by three of the finest Crooners of modern day music, backed by the outstanding and uncompromising live musicianship of the nine-piece The Mini Big Band.

In a world that has forgotten the old-style attraction of sentiment, romance and charm, this show strives to bring those values back into fashion by following the story of three very British gentlemen who exhume the quintessential characteristics of a crooner: suave, self-assured, stylish – and, of course, a fantastic dancer.

This entertaining story is flavoured with a splendiferous sprinkling of British comedy, an outrageous injection of big bang swing and sing-along classics such as The Lady is a Tramp, Fly me to the moon, Mac the Knife, and many more.

Wowing audiences across the UK with its satirical energy, hilarious one-liners, laugh-out-loud silliness and superb musical numbers, this is one show not to be missed when it heads to Warrington’s Parr Hall on Friday Nov 9 2018, 7:30pm.

Tickets are on sale now at www.pyramidparrhall.com or by calling Box Office on 01925 442345.
