Woman stabbed during alleged burglary

A MAN and woman are in custody at Warrington following an aggravated burglary in which a woman was allegedly stabbed.
The incident was in the Latchford area and led to the couple appearing in court yesterday when they were remanded in custody.
Police say the burglary took place in the early hours of Friday when the couple gained access to a house at Latchford and a woman was left with stab wounds.
The man was arrested later at his home address a short time later but the female suspect wsas not arrested until Friday afternoon when she was found in Winmarleigh Street in the town centre.
Both appeared in court yesterday.
