A MAN was arrested at Warrington this morning after what police described as “an exciting foot chase”.
The man was alleged to have stolen perfume from Debenham’s but was spotted by two PCSOs who eventually caught him in Bank Park where he was subsequently arrested by a police officer.
It was subsequently discovered he was also wanted for failing to turn up for a court hearing in Chester.
In another incident a woman was arrested after allegedly stealing goods worth about £265 by wheeling them out of Tesco Extra at Warrington in a supermarket trolley.
