Ambulance crew assaulted at Westbrook

A man is due in Warrington Magistrates court today accused of assaulting two ambulance crew during an incident at Westbrook yesterday.

The 23-year-old male was arrested following the incident yesterday morning, kept in custody over night and is due to appear in court today charged with two offences of assault.

Meanwhile in another incident a male was arrested in Warrington town centre yesterday following a foot chase after allegedly stealing fragrances from a store.
