Missing Great Sankey veteran found safe and well

UPDATED: CHESHIRE Police are pleased to confirm that missing Warrington man Mark Smith has now been found safe and well in Scotland.

Mark, a veteran who suffers from PTSD was reported missing yesterday, Sunday 19 November, by concerned members of his family. He has since been found safe and well in the Aviator area of Scotland.

Officers would like to thank the public and the media for their support during the investigation.

Mark aged 52, from Great Sankey, is founder of the Warrington based Blue Apple Veterans.

  1. I hope that he has just gone to his “safe place up North” where he goes to get away from stuff and that nothing else is troubling him. I hope that returns soon safe and well. Where that safe place is he never says only that he feels safe there. There will be a lot of people from The Blue Apple Veterans rooting for him and Denise.
